Nick Stamper

Nick Stamper is the head Speed/Strength Performance Specialist here at Solus. Nick has had the opportunity to train with some of the most respected trainers in the world on the aspect of speed and strength. He brings that knowledge and experience to Solus with the intent of making everyone better reguardless of age and ability.

Nick has played football for UT-Martin, and Lambuth University. While at Ut-Martin he was named  mvp and became an All-American. While at Lambuth he was named to the Mid south conference team as well as being name an All-American. Nick received his Bachelors of Science in Recreational Sports Management and a minor in Health and Human Performance.

Nick has also has played for the Baltimore Ravens (Nfl), the Monttreal Aluettes (Cfl), and for the Memphis Xplorers (Afl) where he won a national Championship.

– As a assistant with the Seattle Mariners (2010-present) Nick helped with the implementation of  sports performance training and testing within the team. He also works here locally with the Mariners Double A farm team the Jackson Generals (2010-present) who just recently won the 2012 North Division Championship in the Southern League of Professional Baseball Clubs.

-Nick also has certifications such as the USA Track & Field, USA Weight Lifting, and the National Association of Speed and Explosion Certification. With these certifications Nick has worked with many high school/college/professional athletes, and teams.

Allen Ervin

Allen Ervin is a Speed Strength/Performance Specialist here at Solus. He attended Lambuth University (Jackson,Tn) on a football scholarship, as a running back, and graduated in December of 2007. While at Lambuth Allen became an All American and lead the nation in all-purpose yards his senior year with 215 yards a game. After graduating Allen went on to play for the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent. He has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Las Vegas Locomotives (ufl),and the Toronto Argonauts (cfl). After his playing career, Allen started  coaching football at Jackson Christian high school here in town where he coaches special teams, linebackers, and running backs. Allen brings a wealth of sports knowledge and experience to Solus and looks to help every athlete become their best both physically and mentally.

Allen also has his Level 1 sports performance coaching certification from USA Weightlifting.

Allen was also one of the first athletes to train at Solus Performance Training. And continues to train here daily.

 Rj Rayborn

Rj Rayborn is a baseball skills coach as well as a Speed Strength/Performance Specialist here at solus. He studied and played baseball for Dyersburg State and Union University for four years. He started all four years at second base and had a career batting average of .320. While taking classes in college Rj earned a bachelors degree in exercise science. Rj loves fitness and learning new ways to challenge the body to increase overall health. Fitness has played a huge role in Rj’s life ever since he was a kid and he knows the importance of training and setting goals. Hard work and dedication are the main priciples he wants to teach everyone he trains.
